Evan was not a client of SuckerPunch Entertainment but over the past several months we have established a good friendship with his management company, Driving Force Sports, LLC. and his agent John Hayner. SuckerPunch Entertainment offers our deepest condolences to the friends and family of Evan.
A memorial site has been set up at www.EvanTanner.net for anyone who wants to leave comments about Evan.
Sad to see him go, he was always one of my favorite fighters. I remember being captivated by his blog and how personal it was. He always seemed to be a freespirit and searching for more out of life. The whole mixed martial arts community will miss Evan Tanner.
Agreed, Evan Tanner was one of the first champions in the renovated UFC and will be sorely missed. Thanx for putting up the link to his site.

“Is that Evan Tanner in the Shoe Store”? My wife said to me as we strolled through a Mall in New Jersey trying to mentally relax one of my fighters prior to his fight. I looked over and sure enough it was. We approached him as fans and he spoke to us as though we were long lost friends.
He will be remembered as a gentleman and a professional that left his mark on Modern Mixed Martial Arts.
Go with the Lord and lay at rest Mr. Tanner for he has already rewarded you for your kind soul.
