People think it’s all about the money and that the athlete doesn’t really care who sponsors them as long as they get paid… Well that’s not the case with Jens Pulver. Yes he is paid to promote the Activision game COD4, but in no way was he supposed to decorate his own vehicle with the brand! This is happens when there is a perfect marriage between athlete and sponsor.
SuckerPunch and Jens has been working with the folks at Activision now for his past two fights and has been playing the COD game since the first version came out. The bottom line, Jens is professional fighter and pretty much a professional gamer. Jens is so passionate about this game that he claims it helps him stay grounded and focused during the tough months while training for a fight.
Keep your eyes open because COD5 is around the corner!
Good luck on your next fight!
This is one of my all time Fav pix of Pulver it has to be said. Especially the pooch on the back seat, blessssssssss
Hey Jens,
lookin good bro!! great fight with Faber. can’t wait to see you back in the cage!! i am moving to 135 so i would love if we can start a training relationship again…hollar at me!
LOL..I guess now that you are at 135lbs, and Jens is still at 145lbs…you can both get to reign at the same time…without fighting over the same belt.
I have been anxious for ages that an obvious match in that division was…Curran/Pulver 🙁
Cool pic. I’d definately like to see Faber/Jens II.
Man, I say in the future Curran, Pulver and I can run WEC. What you guys think?
I think that You and Curran…and infact all martial artists of your calibre should release Autobiographies.
on a Jens related topic…I know, ANY excuse…Here is a link to the book review I did…
If anyone else on your team has books, let me know, I can read them and do a review for you aswell 🙂

Hey Jens. Good luck on the 10th dude.
Leonard Garcia is a tough kid. He is definately willing to bang standing up, but his ground game is nowhere near as proficient as yours, as we saw against Roger Huerta. I don’t doubt you can hang with him on your feet, but taking it to the ground is a guaranteed “W”.
Strike First, Strike Hard, NO MERCY !!!
Yes I have to say I love this game so much that it’s almost disturbing! It has been a pleasure being with Activision and the COD4 brand and I can not wait for COD5 World At War! It is going to be sick! Watch for my next fight on Nov 5.
